OUR STORY.
KATSUP, in essence, was born out of a pure desire to create, and an obsession with all things aesthetically striking. Here at KATSUP we strive to make an impression through expression; drawing influences from all corners of creativity in order to produce clothing that is simplistically individual and easy to wear, so that you too can express yourself...comfortably.
From carefully selecting the finest clothing with the perfect fit, to our high-quality, completely original, machine embroidered designs, we are able to bring you sleek wardrobe staples that provide a relaxed comfort - what a combo!
To put it simply, we see KATSUP as our chance to put our stamp on the world through doing what we love most - making cool stuff for all you lovely people out there.
RECLAIMING THE PLANET.
Here at KATSUP, sustainability is one of our fundamental core values - that’s where KATSUP Reclaimed comes in...
Our KATSUP Reclaimed range takes clothing from charity shops and turns them into brand new pieces. Whether that be through embroidery, distressing, bleaching, tie-dying - you name it!
As well as charities receiving a donation when we originally purchase the pieces; an additional 25% of the profits from any KATSUP Reclaimed clothing will go back to the charity it was originally purchased from.
We will also use KATSUP Reclaimed to use up any of our own scrap t-shirts or totes that would otherwise end up in the bin or scrumpled up at the bottom of a draw. As these items won’t have come from a specific charity, we will pick a charity each month for the proceeds of these pieces to go to.
This range is not only helping our planet by upcycling and revamping unwanted clothing, it is also providing us a way to say thank you to all the charities out there that are dedicated to the same thing we are - a better place for all of us.
It also gives you guys a chance to cop some completely original, one-off pieces at an even more affordable price! What’s not to like!?
